Stay visible and compliant on RISQS
As a supplier on RISQS, keeping your account compliant is one of the most important things you can do to remain visible to buyers and access opportunities across the rail industry.
A compliant account helps buyers find your organisation when searching for suitable suppliers. It demonstrates that you meet industry requirements and that the information buyers rely on during procurement and sourcing activities is accurate and up to date.
Why compliance matters
When your organisation achieves and maintains a green compliance status, you remain fully searchable on RISQS.

This means buyers can identify your organisation more easily when looking for suppliers that meet their requirements. Your compliance status acts as an important indicator that your business has met the necessary industry standards and is actively maintaining its information.
Without a green compliance status, your visibility to buyers can be significantly reduced and your organisation may not appear in buyer searches.
Key benefits of maintaining compliance
- increase visibility to buyers across the rail industry
- demonstrate commitment to industry standards and best practice
- improve opportunities to be identified during buyer searches
- ensure buyers have access to accurate and up-to-date information
- avoid delays caused by missing information or expired requirements
- maintain confidence in your supplier profile.
Understanding your compliance status
A green compliance status indicates that your organisation is fully compliant and visible to buyers searching within RISQS.
If you see orange status indicators on your dashboard, your organisation may only be partially searchable. This could mean there are outstanding actions that need attention before your compliance can be fully restored.
Review your to-do list regularly to ensure:
- information remains current and accurate
- required documentation is up to date
- relevant RICCL codes remain compliant
- any outstanding actions are completed promptly.
What to do if your status is not green
If you identify any non-compliant items on your dashboard:
- open your to-do list
- select the relevant item
- click Fix
- follow the guidance provided
- update the required information or documentation.
The platform will direct you to the appropriate section of RISQS where corrective action can be taken.
What could you be missing out on?
If compliance lapses, your organisation may no longer be visible to buyers searching on RISQS.
Reduced visibility can impact your ability to:
- be identified by potential buyers
- demonstrate current compliance credentials
- compete effectively for relevant opportunities
- showcase your organisation's capabilities to the rail industry.
Maintaining compliance helps ensure your business remains visible, competitive, and ready for new opportunities.
