TfL’s £700m infrastructure framework
With early contractor involvement and multi-stage contracting, the multi-discipline deal will fast-track several key schemes. These schemes include the £80m South Kensington and £60m Elephant & Castle station upgrades. Also in the plan is £200m worth of step-free access packages.
TfL will select four organisations under the two-stage framework. It will run for an initial 2 years, with the option to extend to 4 years. TfL will use direct call-offs to prevent mini-competitions.
The framework will be open only to RISQS-registered contractors, and there will be calls for a wide range of work categories, such as piling, concrete frames, escalators, and ticket barriers.
Companies have until Monday 16 June 2025 to register interest, and the full tender is due to go live on Friday 27 June 2025. The winners will be confirmed in October.
